Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi, Advocate son of Mr Barkhurdar Khan was born on April 3, 1963 at Masoot, Tehsil Murree. He obtained the degree of LL.B. (Hons) in 1988 from International Islamic University, Islamabad and that of M.A. (Political Science) in 1989 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is a practising lawyer having life membership of Supreme Court and Lahore High Court. He has served as General Secretary of Islamabad Bar during 1992, and was elected as Member Punjab Bar Council in 2000 for a term of five years and as Chairman, Punjab Bar Council in 2001. He is also a human rights activist, who has attended various conferences and workshops, held in different parts of the country and abroad. He has visited China, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, UAE and UK. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab in General Elections 2002 from Murree, Kotli Sattian. His sister- in-law, Ms Mahreen Anwar Raja is a sitting MNA.

Raja Muhammad Ali son of Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq, was born on July 2, 1977 at Rawalpindi. He obtained the degree of LL.B. from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has extensively traveled abroad and attended several international conferences held in Jakarta, Paris, Vienna, Geneva, Malta and Chad. He has also visited UK, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Singapore. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. His father is a veteran politician who has served in various capacities including Minister, Ambassador, Leader of the House and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate. Presently, he is serving as Secretary General World Muslim Congress since 1992.

Raja Tariq Kiani son of Raja Fazal Ellahi was born on April 1, 1954 at Gujar Khan. He graduated in 1975 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. As a student of law in University Law College, Lahore, he remained President of Students’ Debating Society; contested many inter-university debating competitions and won prizes. He is a businessman who served as Nazim City Gujar Khan during 2001-02. He visited Canada in 1974 to participate as Speaker in a Conference on “Islam and Democracy”. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002.

Gp Capt (Retd) Mushtaq Ahmed Kiani, son of Mr Inayat Khan Kiani (late) was born on March 10, 1947 at Rawalpindi. He obtained the degree of B.Sc. (Hons) War Studies in 1988 from Karachi University and was awarded fellowship of Air War College. To his credit, he has over 30 years of distinguished service in Pakistan Air Force from 1965 to 1995 including active participation in both Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He worked as Minister for Public Health Engineering from November 24, 2003 to November 30, 2006. He is functioning as Minister for Management and Professional Development since December 1, 2006.
