Personal Career & Interests

Ms Saleem Bibi wife of Mahar Muhammad Iqbal was born in 1957 at Jhang. An agriculturist, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018. Her father, Ghulam Haider Bharwana remained Member Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1951-55, Member Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1956-58 and as Member National Assembly during 1962-64, 1972-77 and 77. Her daughter, Ms Ghulam Bibi Bharwana remained Member National Assembly during 2002-07, 2008-13, 2013-18; and functioned as Minister of State for Education and Youth Affairs during 2002-07 and is a sitting MNA.
