RESOLUTION ON YOUM-E-ISTEHSAL-E-KASHMIR
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of rules 42, 71, 84, sub-rule (2) of Rule 115 and all other relevant rules of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under rule 234 of the said Rules, to move a Resolution in the Assembly on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir.

Resolution on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir
Suspension of Rules
On a motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs in terms of Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rules 42, 71, 84, 115 (2) and all other relevant rules of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution which was unanimously passed by the House:
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved a Resolution expressing complete solidarity with all the Kashmiri people on the eve of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir falling on 05 August 2020. The Occupied Kashmir was turned into the largest prison, a year ago, when India took unconstitutional step to change the status of the Held Kashmir. It tried to change Muslim demography by repealing Article 370 and 35-A, and disturbing peace of the region and the world as well. The human rights violations in occupied Kashmir had increased manifold and the continuous curfew in the valley was like an acute human tragedy. The Indian forces martyred thousands of Kashmiris on the orders of Narendra Modi and blinded hundreds of them, but could not deprive them of their dream to become free.
