Mrs Embesat Hamid wife of Mr Hamid Hameed was born in Lahore. She obtained the degree of B.Sc. in 1989 from College of Home Economics Gulberg, Lahore. She served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and has returned to the Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. She has extensively travelled abroad including USA, Spain, France, UAE and UK
