Ch Muhammad Omar Jaffar son of Ch Muhammad Jaffar Iqbal was born on August 13, 1982 at Rahim Yar Khan. He has obtained his education from UK. He completed GCSE in 1999 from St. Lawrence College, Ramsgate, UK; and obtained the degree of B.A.(Hons) in Business Economics and Finance in 2008 from London Metropolitan University, UK. A businessman and a landlord, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013. He has visited Thailand, Singapore, UK, USA and France. His father, served as Senator during 2009-15; as Member National Assembly during 1993-96; as Deputy Speaker, National Assembly during 1997-99; as Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab during 1989-90; and as Provincial Minister for Health during 1990-93; his mother, Begum Ishrat Ashraf was MNA during 1985-88, 2002-07, 2008-13 and also functioned as Special Assistant to Prime Minister during 1998-99; and his sister, Miss Zeb Jaffar, was MPA during 2008-13 and is a sitting MNA.
