Mr Tanvir Ashraf Kaira son of Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf was born on August 25, 1960 at Gujrat. He graduated in 1981 from F.G. College No. 1, Islamabad and obtained the degree of MBA in 1984 from Sussex University, UK. A businessman, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. His cousin, Mr Qamar Zaman, is a sitting Member of National Assembly. His uncle, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam Kaira, was Member Punjab Assembly during 1990-93 and his uncle, Haji Muhammad Asghar Kaira, was Member Punjab Assembly during 1985-88 and Member National during 1988-90 and 1993-96.
