Mr Aamer Hayat Khan Rokhri son of Khan Amir Abdullah Khan Rokhri was born on August 12, 1956 in Lahore. He obtained his early education from Aitchison College Lahore and graduated in 1977 from FC College, Lahore. He has been functioning as President, Lahore City Cricket Association since 1985; as SecretaryGeneral, Badminton Federation; as President, Punjab Badminton Association and as Member, Governing Body, Pakistan Cricket Board since 2002. He participated in International Conferences held in and in 2002. He served as Member, National Assembly during 1985-88 and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1990-93 and 2002-07. A businessman, who has returned to Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the third term in general elections 2008. He has travelled to , , , and . His father served as Senator during 1985-97, as Member, National Assembly during 1977 and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77. His cousin, Mr Gul Hameed Khan Rokhri served as Minister for Revenue, Relief & Consolidations, Punjab during 2003-07.
