Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.

Haji Muhammad Ishaq son of Ch Muhammad Latif (late) was born on April 15, 1957 at Tehsil Gojra, District Toba Tek Singh. He obtained the degree of M.A. in 1980 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He served as Chairman, Municipal Committee during 1983-87. A former Member of National Assembly (during 1988-90) who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. He has traveled to Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran, India and UK. He has served as as Minister for Revenue and Relief from 09-June-2008 to 01-March-2011.
