Personal Career & Interests

Mian Muhammad Aslam, Advocate son of Mian Noor Muhammad was born on April 1, 1952 at Khanpur, District Rahim Yar Khan. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1971 from S.M. Law College, Karachi. A practicing lawyer (Advocate High Court), who served as Councillor, UC Mari Allah Bachaya during 1979-83, as Chairman, UC Mari Allah Bachaya during 1983-87;as Councillor, Municipal Committee Khanpur during 1987-93 and as President, Bar Association, Khanpur during 1982 and 1991-94. He served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and was a Member of Standing Committee on Transport during 2003-07. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008. He has visited Saudi Arabia, Dubai and India. He remained Parliamentary Secretary for Sports from 31January 2009 to 26 February 2011.
