Personal Career & Interests

Mrs Kishwar Qayyum wife of Mr Qayyum Nizami was born in Lahore. She graduated in 1970 from Lahore College for Women, Lahore. During the Martial Law of 1977, she was imprisoned along with her four month’s son in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. She has travelled to Canada and UK. Her husband remained a Member of Punjab Assembly during 1977.
