GOVERNMENT BUSINESS
1. THE
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2010, as recommended by the Standing Committee on Local Government and Rural Development, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2010 be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB MINERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) BILL 2009 (Bill No. 17 of 2009)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Mineral Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2009, as recommended by the Standing Committee on Mines and Minerals, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Mineral Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2009 be passed.
3. MOTION UNDER RULE 61 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE
MIAN NASEER AHMAD to initiate discussion on a matter of public importance arising out of answer to Starred Question No. 1619 relating to the Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department.

Questions relating to Communication and Works Department were asked and Malik Nadeem Kamran, Minister for Food (holding additional charge of Communication and Works) answered the questions.

Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-
On a Motion moved by Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Khan, the House granted extension in the time limit till 15, March, 2010, for laying the report of the Standing Committee on Law & Parliamentary Affairs on the following bills:-
“The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment) Bill 2008 (Bill No. 15 of 2008)” moved by Ch Aamar Sultan Cheema, MPA (PP-32).
“The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment) Bill 2008 (Bill No. 17 of 2008)” moved by Mrs Amna Ulfat, MPA (W-356).
The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment) Bill 2008 (Bill No. 6 of 2009)” moved by Ch Muhammad Asad Ullah, MPA (PP-106).
On a Motion moved by Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman, the House granted extension in the time limit till 15, March, 2010, for laying the report of the Standing Committee on Excise & Taxation on the Privilege Motion No. 308 of 2009 moved by Sheikh Ala-ud-Din, MPA (PP-181).
On a Motion moved by Ch. Aamir Sultan Cheema, the House granted extension in the time limit till 15, March, 2010, for laying the report of the Standing Committee on Local Government and Rural Development on the Question No.334 moved by Syed Hassan Murtaza, MPA (PP-74).
The House was then adjourned till 10:00 am on Thursday, February 4th, 2010.
