1.   THE QARSHI UNIVERSITY, MURIDKE BILL 2010 (Bill No. 24 of 2010)

            A MINISTER to introduce the Qarshi University, Muridke Bill, 2010.

 

2.   THE PUNJAB INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS BILL 2010 (Bill No. 19 of 2010)

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Industrial Relations Bill 2010, as recommended by Standing Committee on Labour and Human Resource, be taken into consideration at once.

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Industrial Relations Bill 2010 be passed.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Noor Muhammad followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Mr. Akhtar Hussain Quraishi.

 

 Question Hour: −

 

Questions relating to Sports Department were asked and Dr. Tanveer-ul-Islam, Minister for Sports answered the questions.

 

Laying of Report:-

 

Mr. Walayat Shah presented the report of Standing Committee on Agriculture before the House in respect of “Starred Question No. 1749* asked by Muhammad Hafeez Akhtar Ch”, MPA (PP-223).

 

Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-

 

On a Motion moved by Ch. Tahir Mehmood Hundli Advocate, the House granted extension up to one month to Standing Committee on Health for laying its reports on “Adjournment Motion No. 1038 of 2008 moved by Shaikh Allaud Din , MPA (PP-181) and Starred Question No. 2012* asked by Mian Muhammad Naveed Anjum, MPA (PP-145).”

 

On a Motion moved by Mrs.‏ Ayehsa Javed , the House granted extension up to one month to Standing Committee on Education for laying its report on “Starred Question No. 2481*, 3435* and 3436*.” 

 

On a Motion moved by Mian Atta Muhammad Khan Maneka , the House granted extension up to one month to Standing Committee on Transport for laying its report on “The Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2008 (Bill No. 1 of 2008) moved by Ms. Tayyaba Zameer , MPA (W-299).

 

Privilege Motion:-

 

 

 

Three Privilege Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Mr. Tahir Naveed regarding misbehavior of Ahsan Chohan, DSP, City, Sargodha, Mr. Muhammad Azeem Warraich and Mr. Arif Cheema, SHOs, the motion moved by Ch. Tahir Mehmood Hundli Advocate regarding misbehavior of Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Medical Officer, Punjab Institute of Cardiology and the motion moved by Rai Ijaz Hussain regarding misbehavior of DOR, Faisalabad were, referred to the Privilege Committee.  

 

 The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

 

 Adjournment Motions:-

 

 

 

Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. Two motions were moved by Sardar Khalid Saleem Bhatti one regarding lack of facilities in Government College for Commerce, Burewala the other regarding shortage of Teachers at Government Poly-technical Institute, Burewala, the motion moved by Ms. Sajida Mir regarding lack of doctors and paramedical staff at RHCs and BHUs were disposed of and the motion moved by Mian Tariq Mehmood regarding shifting of Chattel Market, Kharian, was kept pending till next session.

 

The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

1.         Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced the following Bill:

 

“THE QARSHI UNIVERSITY, MURIDKE BILL 2010 (Bill No. 24 of 2010)”, The

 

Bill was referred to the Standing Committee on Education for submitting its report within one month.

 

2.         Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Bill:

 

THE PUNJAB INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS BILL 2010 (Bill No. 19 of 2010),

 

The bill was later passed by the House.

 

 

The Deputy Speaker then adjourned the session sine die.
