Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Ali followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Mr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi.

Question Hour: −

Questions relating to Health Department were asked and Dr. Saeed Elahi, Parliamentary Secretary for Health answered the questions.

Call Attention Notices:-

Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice of Ch. Zaheer-ud-Din regarding kidnap, molestation and murder of five years old Muzamil, resident of Thekrewala, Factory Area Police station, Faisalabad was disposed of as mover was not present and other Call Attention Notice of Ms. Sajida Mir regarding assassination of Mr Muhammad Aslam, Police Constable at the hands of dacoits at Dholan road, district Kasur was disposed of.

The Notices were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Privilege Motion:

 The Privilege motion of Ch. Tahir Mehmood Hundli Advocate was regarding misbehavior of Rana Nadeem Asif, SHO, Sadar was kept pending till 25-1-11.

The motion was answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Adjournment Motions:-

Five Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Ms. Sajida Mir, regarding non provision of jails for women in their respective cities rather than located at Multan, two motions were moved by Mrs. Samina Khawar Hayat, regarding kidnapping and gang rapp of two girls at Chechawatni and other regarding mismanagement in Green Tractor Scheme started by the Punjab Government, the motion moved by Ch. Aamir Sultan Cheema regarding allotment of government residence to the retired Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif in sheer violation of Law on the part of the Chief Minister Punjab were disposed of. The motion moved by Engineer Shahzad Elahi regarding disposal of old stock of 50 kg PP bags used to preserve Wheat by the Food department was kept pending till 21-1-2011.

The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-

On a Motion moved by Syed Nazim Hussain Shah, the House granted extension for one month to Special Committee for laying its report on “Present lease amount of Khizrabad livestock farm, Sargodha”.

Government Business:-

CONTINUATION OF PRE-BUDGET GENERAL DISCUSSION SEEKING PROPOSALS OF THE MEMBERS FOR THE BUDGET 2011-12:-

In continuation of Pre-Budget general discussion on Seeking Proposals of the Members for the Budget 2011-12, members who participated in the discussion are: Dr. Tahir Ali Javed, Syeda Majida Zaidi, Mr. Karam Ellahi Bandial, Humaira Awais Shahid, Shaikh Allaud Din, Mrs. Amna Ulfat, Mrs. Khadija Umar, Mr.   Muhammad Tariq Amin Hotyana, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar, Ms.   Fozia Behram, Mr. Muhammad Sana Ullah Khan Masti Khel, Rana Abdul Rauf, Ch. Muhammad Akhlaq, Mrs. Samina Naveed, Rana Tanveer Ahmad Nasir, Khawaja Muhammad Islam, Rai Muhammad Aslam Khan, Ms. Arifa Khalid Pervez, Mrs. Nighat Nasir Sheikh, Ms. Tayyaba Zameer, Mr. Muhammad Jamil Shah, Mrs. Shagufta Sheikh, Mr. Joel Amir Sahutra, Ch.
