Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Suspension of Rules
Suspending rule no.234 and of the Rule 50 Rules of Procedure Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, the Question Hour was skipped and Call Attention Notices were taken up followed by discussion on Law and Order situation in the Province.
Call Attention Notices:-
Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice moved by Shaikh Allaud Din regarding killing of Rikshah Driver moved Muhammad Salim, resident of Sarai Mughal during a dacoity was disposed of. The Notice moved by Mr. Ghulam Habib Awan regarding death of a SHO Hadyara who died due to under his own car was disposed of after the Speaker constituted a committee to investigate the matter.
The Notices were answered by Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
