Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, Acting Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report
On a Motion moved by Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi, the House granted two months extension from 20 June 2017 to the Committee on Privileges for laying its report on “Privilege Motion Nos.1,12 of 2013, 20,31 of 2014, 5,14,18,19,20 of 2015, 18,20,32,33,35,38,39 of 2016 and 2,3,4,5,6 of 2017”.
On a Motion moved by Mian Mumtaz Ahmad, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Colonies for laying its reports in respect of the following:
1. Starred Question Nos. 4,2477,3254, 6950,6960,7991,7995; and
2. Un-starred Question Nos. 407,596,718,1245.
On a Motion moved by Bao Akhtar Ali, the House granted two months extension from 20 June 2017 to the Standing Committee on Services & General Administration for laying its reports in respect of the following:
1. Starred Question Nos.7108 and 7109 asked by Mian Tariq Mehmood, MPA (PP-113);
2. Starred Question No.7122 asked by Mrs Raheela Anwar, MPA (W-357); and
3. Starred Question No.7124 asked by Dr Nausheen Hamid, MPA (W-356).

General discussion on Annual Budget for the year 2017-18 continued for the fourth day. Ms. Tamkeen Akhtar Niazi, Mr. Abu Hafs Muhammad Ghiyas-ud-Din, Mian Muhammad Saqib Khurshid, Mr. Ali Asghar Manda, Advocate, Dr. Najma Afzal Khan, Mr. Ahmed Khan Bhachar, Dr. Farzana Nazir, Miss Mary Gill, Bao Akhtar Ali, Mian Mumtaz Ahmad, Mian Muhammad Islam Aslam, Mr Shehryar Malik, Mr Muhammad Rafique, Ms. Nasreen Jawaid alias Nasreen Nawaz, Ms. Shunila Ruth, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Mr. Tariq Subhani, Mr. Ahmad Shah Khagga, Ms. Gulnaz Shahzadi, Ms. Khadija Umar, Dr. Murad Rass, Ms. Raheela Anwar, Ch. Abdul Razzaq Dhillon, Sardar Ali Raza Khan Dreshak, Mr. Muhammad Arshad Malik and Mr. Muhammad Jahanzaib Khan Khichi participated in the discussion.
