Laying of Reports

Bao Akhtar Ali presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Services & General Administration in respect of “The Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation (Amendment) Bill 2018 (Bill No. 16 of 2018)”.

Mr. Abdul Rauf Mughal presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce & Investment in respect of “The Punjab University of Technology Rasul Bill 2018 (Bill No. 22 of 2018)”.

Ms.‏ Shazia Kamran presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Labour & Human Resources in respect of “The Punjab Bonded Labour System (Abolition) (Amendment) Bill 2018 (Bill No. 19 of 2018)”.

Question Hour

Questions relating to Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education and Primary & Secondary Health Departments were on the agenda. Due to the loud protest and rumpus in the House by the opposition members against Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, former Prime Minister of Pakistan for giving statement defending India, the Chair adjourned the House for twenty minutes at 11:50 a.m.

On resumption at 12:21 p.m. questions relating to Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department were asked and Mr. Hassaan Riaz, Parliamentary Secretary for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education answered the questions. During Question Hour quorum was pointed out at 12:29 p.m. and the House was adjourned at 12:35 p.m. to meet on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
