Personal Career & Interests	Raja Tariq Kiani son of Raja Fazal Ellahi was born on April 1, 1954 at Gujar Khan. He graduated in 1975 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. As a student of law in University Law College, Lahore, he remained President of Students’ Debating Society; contested many inter-university debating competitions and won prizes. He visited in 1974 to participate as Speaker in a Conference on “Islam and Democracy”. He is a businessman who served as Nazim City Gujar Khan during 2001-02. He was a member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07, has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second second term in general elections 2008 and is presently functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Labour.
