Personal Career & Interests

Mr Zafar Zulqurnain Sahi son of Mr Ghulam Rasul Sahi was born on July 24, 1980 in Lahore. He obtained his early education from Military College, Jhelum. He graduated in law from the Institute of Legal Studies, Unversity of the Punjab, Lahore in 2005 and also won “Sir Ranbir Singh Gold Medal” for securing 1st position in LL.B. He also possesses the degree of LL.M. from the Universiy of Warwick, UK. A practicing lawyer, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. His father served as Member of National Assembly during 2002-07; and, his uncle, Ch Muhammad Afzal Sahi served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90, 1990-93, 1993-96, 1997-99 and 2002-07; functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife during 1990-93; as Minister for Communications & Works during 1998-99 and as Speaker of Punjab Assembly during 2002-07.
