| Mian Tariq Mehmood son of Mian Ghulam Rasool was born on May 5, 1955 at Dinga, District Gujrat and is a graduate from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99 and also functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare and Zakat during 1988-90 and 1990-93; and as Minister for Population Welfare during 1993. He has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the fourth term in general elections 2008. He has travelled to Norway, USA and England. His daughter, Ms Maria Tariq remained a Member of Punjab Assembly during 2002-07. | |||||||||
