Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad son of Chaudhry Sardar Ali (late) was born on November 1, 1959 at Sarai Alamgir. He graduated in 1993 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Naib Tehsildar during 1989-99. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2003-07 and served as Chairman, Standing Committee on Communications and Works. His brother, Ch Muhammad Farooq was a Member of Punjab Assembly during 1988-90, 1990-93, 1993-96 and 2002; and also functioned as Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs during 1993-96.
