Rai Farooq Umar Khan Kharal son of Rai Muhammad Amir Khan Kharal was born on June 8, 1974 at Kund Bohar, District Okara. He graduated in 1996 from FC College, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Nazim, Union Council during 2001-02. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and has returned again in general elections 2008. His uncle, Rai Noor Muhammad Kharal was Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1993-96.
