| Mr Asif Saeed Manais son of Mr Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais was born on December 1, 1976 at Tibba Sultanpur, District Vehari. He graduated in 1997 from Government College, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07; functioned as Chairman, Public Accounts Committee No.II during, 2003-07 and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008. His father served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99; and also functioned as Minister for Communication and Works during 1985-88; as Minister for Agriculture during 1998-90, as Chairman, Public Accounts Committee during 1990-93; as Speaker, Punjab Assembly from May 4, 1993 to October 19, 1993; and as Leader of the Opposition during 1997-99. | |||||||||||||
