| Mehr Ijaz Ahmad Achlana son of Mehr Bhadar Achlana was born on January 15, 1966 at Layyah and is a law graduate. An agriculturist, who served as Member, District Council Layyah during 1991-93 and 1998-99. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07, and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008. His wife, Mrs Rehana Ijaz is also a sitting Member of Punjab Assembly (W-324). They are the first couple in the history of Punjab Assembly who have become MPAs simultaneously | |
