Personal Career & Interests

Ms Azma Zahid Bokhari daughter of Syed Zahid Hussain Bokhari was born at Faisalabad. She obtained the degree of LL.B. in 2001 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A practicing lawyer, who has served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07; has returned to the Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. Her father served as Justice, Lahore High Court, Lahore and is now serving as Prosecutor General Punjab. She has visited USA and Spain. She remained Parliamentary Secretary for Culture & Youth Affairs from 31January 2009 to 26 February 2011.
