Mr Zahoor Hussain Qureshi son of Mr Shujaat Hasnain Qureshi was born on December 19, 1973 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of M.B.A. in 1997 from Wake Forest University, USA. He served as Union Nazim, Tehsil Mian Channu, District Khanewal during 2001-02. A management consultant and an agriculturist, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He belongs to a renowned political family. His grandfather, Pir Zahoor Hussain Qureshi, was Member, Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1951-55, Member, Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1956-58 and 196265; his maternal grandfather, Makhdoom Sajjad Hussain Qureshi had been the Governor of the Punjab during 1985-88; his father was Senator during 1986-89, Member National Assembly during 1990-93, Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1977 and 1993-96; his uncle, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, was Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90 and 1990-93; Member National Assembly during 1993-96 and is a sitting MNA.
