Personal Career & Interests

Mian Atta Muhammad Khan Maneka son of Mian Muhammad Khuda Yar Khan Maneka was born on October 10, 1945. He is a gold-medalist in M.A. from Government College, Lahore (1966). An agriculturist, who acted as Chairman Market Committee Pakpattan during 1980-83; and as Chairman District Council Pakpattan during 1991-93. He served as Member Punjab Assembly during 1993-96 and functioned as Minister for Education; he also remained Member National Assembly during 1989-90. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He belongs to a well-known political family and his various relations, including his father, have been serving both in National and Provincial Assemblies in various capacities.
