Mrs Shazia Chand wife of Mr Muhammad Iqbal Butt was born on September 23, 1969. She obtained the degree of M.A. (English) in 1997 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She served as Town Councillor/ Convenor, Social Welfare Committee during 2001-02. She has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for women; and is functioning as Chairperson, Standing Committee on Planning & Development since January 27, 2004.
