Personal Career & Interests

Dr Asad Ashraf son of Mr Hasan Ashraf was born on June 21, 1963 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of M.B.B.S. in 1986 from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore and did his Post-Graduate Diploma in Cardiology in 1994 from NICVD, University of Karachi; and served as consultant cardiologist, Services Hospital Lahore. He acted as Member Resource Generation Committee, and Member Auction Committee MCL during 1997-99; Chairman, Solid Waste Management Committee, MCL during 1998-99; Chairman, Board of Governors, Government Nawaz Sharif Hospital, Lahore; Member Punjab Prices and Supplies Board, and as Member Up-gradation Committee Govt Nawaz Sharif College, Choona Mandi, Lahore. He has participated in various National Conferences during 1993 and 1994. He functioned as Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab during 1997-99. A physician and a cardiologist, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002.
