Personal Career & Interests

Mrs Saghira Islam widow of Ch Muhammad Islam (late) was born on October 15, 1945, in India. She obtained the degree of M.A. in 1978 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is engaged in teaching. She served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1977 and 1988-90, and has returned to Punjab Assembly for the third term in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for women.
