Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Majid followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (P.B.U.H.) by Dr. Samia Amjad, member Provincial Assembly.
Question Hour: −
Questions relating to Schools Education and Higher Education Department were asked and Mian Mujtuba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Minister for Schools Education and Higher Education (holding additional charge) answered the questions.
Privilege Motions:-
Only one Privilege motion was taken up. Motion moved by Mrs. Deeba Mirza regarding misconduct of Nabibux Butt, Police inspector was referred to the Privilege Committee.
The motion was answered by Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-
Eleven Adjournment Motions were taken up. Two adjournment motions moved by Mian Muhammad Naveed Anjum regarding illegal possession of 200 to 300 kanals at Harbanspura, Lahore and other related to health issues at Lakhodahr, Shadipura and Darogawala. Adjournment motion moved by Ms. Zobia Rubab Malik regarding newspaper report about not fulfilling the criteria of development schemes of kachiabadi, motion moved by Mrs. Amna Ulfat regarding newspaper report about quakes, who use steroids to their patients. Three motions were moved by Engineer Raja Qamar-ul-Islam regarding using of low quality sewerage pipes at different areas of Punjab, second motion regarding not considering employees of Tehsil, Kalar Saidan for hill allowance were pended and third motion regarding low quality industrial material manufactured by steel mills was disposed off. Three motions were moved by Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chohan regarding, only one public park at Gujranwala for the population of 2 million, other motion regarding jail at Gugranwala, in which there are no proper facilities available and third motion regarding less quantity of tube wells for 2 million of population and motion moved by Mrs. Samina Khawar Hayat regarding newspaper report about not paying all the dues to the owners of land of Gwalmandi, occupied for Gwalmandi Girls High School were disposed off.
