Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Privilege Motion
The Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Shahzad Munshi regarding misbehavior of Dr. Hassan Raza, AMS, Children Hospital with the Member concerned, was kept pending till June 29, 2016.
Laying of Report
Mr. Zulfiqar Ghouri presented before the House the reports of Standing Committee on Livestock and Dairy Development in respect of the following:
1. The Punjab Animals Slaughter Control (Second Amendment) Bill 2016 (Bill No.22 of 2016) and
2. The Punjab Poultry Production Bill 2016 (Bill No. 24 of 2016).
Rana Muhammad Afzal presented before the House the reports of Standing Committee on Home Affairs in respect of the following:
1. The Punjab Maintenance of Public Order (Amendment) Bill 2016 (Bill No. 16 of 2016); and
2. The Punjab Civilian Victims of Terrorism (Relief and Rehabilitation) Bill 2016 (Bill No. 18 of 2016).
Ch. Muhammad Iqbal presented before the House the reports of Committee on Privileges in respect of “Privilege Motions No.1, 25 for the year 2015 and 4 for the year 2016.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report
On a Motion moved by Ch. Muhammad Iqbal, the House granted two months extension to the Committee on Privileges for laying its reports on “Privilege Motion Nos.12 of 2013, 20, 31 of 2014, 5, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 27 of 2015, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of 2016”.
On a Motion moved by Mian Mumtaz Ahmad, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Colonies for laying its reports on “Starred Question Nos. 3529, 3690, 4400 and 6778 asked by Mr Amjad Ali Javaid, MPA (PP-86), Starred Question No. 3542 asked by Ch Iftikhar Hussain Chhachhar, MPA (PP-188) and Starred Question No. 6950 asked by Mr Abu Hafs Muhammad Ghiyas-ud-Din, MPA (PP-133).
On a Motion moved by Mian Mumtaz Ahmad, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Communication & Works for laying its report on “Starred Question No.3527asked by Mr Amjad Ali Javaid, MPA (PP-86)”.
On a Motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Taufeeq Butt, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Food for laying its report on “Starred Question No. 7051 asked by Ch Ashraf Ali Ansari, MPA (PP-93)”.
On a Motion moved by Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali Khan, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Services & General Administration for laying its reports on “Starred Question No. 6261 asked by Mian Tahir, MPA (PP-69), Starred Question No. 6787 asked by Mr Amjad Ali Javaid, MPA (PP-86), Starred Question Nos. 7108 and 7109 asked by Mian Tariq Mehmood, MPA (PP-113), Starred Question No. 7122 asked by Ms Raheela Anwar, MPA (W-357) and Starred Question No. 7124 asked by Dr. Nausheen Hamid, MPA (W-356)”.
On a Motion moved by Mr. Ameer Muhammad Khan, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering for laying its reports on “Adjournment Motion Nos.237/14 moved by Mr Ahmad Shah Khagga, MPA (PP-229), Adjournment Motion No.278/15 moved by Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar, MPA (PP-271), Starred Question No. 2401 asked by Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar, MPA (PP-271) and Starred Question No. 4437 asked by Raja Rashid Hafeez, MPA (PP-11)”.
General Discussion on Supplementary Budget for the year 2015-16.
