In terms of Rule 13(1) of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, Mr. Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Secretary Assembly announced the Panel of Chairmen as nominated by Acting Speaker in the following order:-

1.      Mian Shafi Muhammad (PP-258)

2.      Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Warraich (PP-29)

3.      Nawab Zada Waseem Khan Badozai  (PP-213)

4.      Ms. Zakia Khan (W-331)

Question Hour

Questions relating to Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department were asked and Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the Minister concerned answered the questions.

On a point of order Rana Muhammad Iqbal drew the attention of the Chair for not issuing production orders of Mr. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif (LOP) and Khawaja Salman Rafique under detention legislators in terms of Rule 79-A of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997. He argued that Leader of Opposition should have been in the House during debate on law & order and price-hike. Amid rumpus and protest by the opposition members, the Chair prorogued the session.
