            A MINISTER to lay the Punjab Public Private Partnership Ordinance 2019.

3.   THE PUNJAB MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTIONS (REFORMS) ORDINANCE 2019

            A MINISTER to lay the Punjab Medical Teaching Institutions (Reforms) Ordinance 2019.

4.   THE PUNJAB PROBATION AND PAROLE SERVICE ORDINANCE 2019

            A MINISTER to lay the Punjab Probation and Parole Service Ordinance 2019.

(b)  CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILL

      THE PUNJAB ALTERNATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION BILL 2019 (BILL No. 13 of 2019)

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Alternate Dispute Resolution Bill 2019, as recommended by Standing Committee on Law, be taken into consideration at once.

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Alternate Dispute Resolution Bill 2019, be passed.

Question Hour

Questions relating to Revenue & Colonies (Board of Revenue) Departments were asked and answered by Malik Muhammad Anwar, Minister for Revenue and Mr. Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan, Minister for Colonies.

Call Attention Notices

Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice moved by Ms. Shaheen Raza regarding death of Ms. Huma Kanwal, Head Nurse of Fazal Hospital, Gujranwala, declaring as a suicide case by the Hospital administration and the second Notice moved by Syed Hassan Murtaza regarding murder of Mr. Shahzad Awan, a political leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Rawalpindi were disposed of after replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Privilege Motion

The Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Ghazanfar Abbas  regarding non-implementation of the decision of Finance Committee of the Punjab Assembly (Constituted under Articles 88 and 127 of the Constitution of Pakistan) by the Finance Department, Government of the Punjab to include Annual Budget Estimates 2019-2020 of the Assembly and its Secretariat as approved by the Committee in the Annual Budget Statement was disposed of with the direction by the Chair to constitute a Committee on such matter to be headed by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report

On a Motion moved by Ms. Aisha Nawaz, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on School Education for laying its report on “The Punjab Seized and Freezed Institutions (Madaaris and Schools) Bill 2019 (Bill No. 22 of 2019)”.

On a Motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Afzal, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Primary and Secondary Healthcare for laying its report on “The Punjab Seized and Freezed Facilities (Hospitals and Dispensaries) Bill 2019 (Bill No. 23 of 2019)”.

On a Motion moved by Mr. Ghanzafer Abbas, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Labour and Human Resource for laying its report on “Bill Nos.8 and 12 of the year 2019”.

Government Business

Laying of Ordinances

Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid the following Ordinances before the House, which were referred to the concerned Standing Committees with the direction to submit their reports within two months.

Consideration and Passage of Bill

Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved    THE PUNJAB ALTERNATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION BILL 2019 (BILL No. 13 of 2019), for consideration at once and was passed by the House.

The House was then adjourned at 08:26 p.m. to meet on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
