Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
DISCUSSION ON ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2006-07:-
The annual budget for the year 2006-07 was presented in the Punjab Assembly on 14-6-2006. After 2 days break, discussion on the annual budget was started. As per parliamentary tradition, the discussion was initiated by Mr. Qasim Zia, Leader of the Opposition. The following Eight members, four from the opposition benches and four from the treasury benches participated in the discussion.
