Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Speaker, assumed the chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
PRIVILEGE MOTION:-
A Privilege Motion moved by Miss Kanwal Naseem regarding misconduct of Mr. Muhammad Sajjad Babar, District Officer Zakat Lahore, with the mover, was kept pending till 24-6-2006 on the request of Ch. Muhammad Iqbal, Minister for Food.
GOVERNMENT BUSINESS:-
GENERAL DISCUSSION ON ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2006-07:-
General Discussion on Annual Budget 2006-07 presented on 14-6-2006 was resumed on the fourth day and came to the conclusion with the wind up speech delivered by Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak, Minister for Finance.
The following 18 members 9 each from the opposition benches and treasury benches participated in the discussion.
