ADJOURNMENT MOTION:-
The Adjournment Motion already moved by Rana Sanaullah Khan against Vice Chancellor G.C University, Faisalabad, for sexual harassment to a girl student was referred for probe to a Special Committee comprising the following members, constituted in terms of rule 187 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997:-

BILLS:-
1. The pending bill moved by Mr. Tanveer Ashraf Kaira titled “The University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi (Amendment) Bill 2004 (Bill No. 12 of 2004)” was again kept pending till next session on the request of Mr. Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi, Minister for Agriculture.
2. The following bills were opposed by the Ministers concerned and were disposed of. However the movers were given assurance that the government was going to present comprehensive bills on the similar issues in the coming sessions:-
- “The University of Central Punjab, Lahore (Amendment) Bill 2006 (bill No. 10 of 2006)”, moved by Arshad Mehmood Baggu and opposed by Mian Imran Masood, Minister for Education.
- “The Lahore School of Economics (Amendment) Bill 2006 (Bill No. 8 of 2006)”, moved by Mr. Muhammad Waqas and opposed by Mian Imran Masood, Minister for Education.
- “The Hajvery University, Lahore (Amendment) Bill 2006 (Bill No. 9 of 2006)”, on the anology of above two bills, this bill was not moved and was disposed of.
- “The Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Preservation, Conservation and Management) (Amendment) Bill 2006 (Bill No. 11 of 2006)”, moved by Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi and opposed by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
3. “The Punjab Private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) (Amendment) Bill 2006 (Bill No.7 of 2006)”, moved by Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi was opposed by Mian Imran Masood, Minister for Education and was disposed of. However issues raised in the bill were referred to the Special Committee, already constituted by the Government for making recommendations regarding regulation of Private Schools, headed by Malik Ahmad Khan, Parliamentary Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs.
REVISION OF EMOLUMENTS OF PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES:-
On a table motion moved by Rai Ejaz Ahmad, the House constituted a Special Committee in terms of Rule 187 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, comprising the following members to consider the revision of emoluments of public representatives.

RESOLUTIONS:-
1. The following resolutions were kept pending till next session on the request of Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dareshak, Minister for Finance.
- The resolution moved by Mst. Faiza Ahmad that widows of pensioners should be paid 100% family pension instead of 50%.
- The resolution moved by Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar that interest of agricultural loans outstanding against the farmers possessing 12.5 acres of agricultural land or less, should be written of.
- The resolution moved by Malik Nazar Farid Khokhar that Punjab government should make grant in aid of Rs. One Crore to the Punjab Bar Council.
2. The resolution moved by Ch. Javed Ahmad about teaching of Punjabi language as a subject at Primary level was opposed by Mian Imran Masood, Minister for Education and was disposed of.
3. Syed Hassan Murtaza moved a resolution that the Cooperative Department should reduce mark up from 15% to 8% on the agricultural loans given by the Cooperative Societies to the farmers. The resolution was opposed by col. (Retd.) Malik Muhamamd Anwar Minister for Cooperatives and was disposed of.
4. The resolution of Syed Abdul Aleem Shah was disposed of due to his absence,
