Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Speaker, assumed the chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran.
QUESTION HOUR:-
Questions relating to LIVESTOCK & DAIRY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT were asked and answers were given by Chaudhry Khalid Mehmood, Advocate Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock & Dairy Development.
CALL ATTENTION NOTICES:-
The first Call Attention Notice was moved by Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas regarding killing of three people by “Hathora Group”. The Notice was disposed of after being replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
The second notice moved by Mrs. Tahira Munir was about a reported incident of gun point robbery of Mobile phone, cash and gold jewelry worth Rs 0.15 million at Lower Mall, Lahore. The Notice was answered by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.
PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-
Four Privilege Motions were taken up. Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Ajasam Shariff was disposed of due to his absence.
Privilege Motions moved by Miss Laila Muqaddus and Chaudhry Muhammad Shafique Anwar respectively were kept pending till next session on the request of Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
Privilege Motion moved by Miss Samina Naveed were also kept pending till next session on the request of Mian Imran Masood Minister for Education.
ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-
Five Adjournment Motions were taken up. Out of which Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad was kept pending till next session on the request of Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
Adjournment Motion moved by Haji Muhammad Ejaz regarding the incident of death of a person by metal string used in kite flying. The motion was answered by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of accordingly.
Adjournment Motion moved by Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi, Advocate regarding violation of building bylaws in Tehsil Murree and malpractice by the TMA Murree. The motion was answered by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of accordingly.
Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad regarding drowning of argil in an uncovered drain in Faisalabad. The motion was replied by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of accordingly.
Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad concerning the refilling of gas cylinders by unauthorized persons in residential area in Faisalabad creating hazards for life and prosperity. The motion was replied by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of accordingly.

- LAYING OF ANNUAL REPORT OF THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION FOR THE YEAR 2005:-
Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid the Annual Report of the Punjab Public Service Commission for the year 2005.

Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid the Annual Report of the Office of Provincial Ombudsman for the year 2005.
3. GENERAL DISCUSSION ON LAW AND ORDER:-
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs initiated the general discussion on law and order. Leader of Opposition, Mr. Qasim Zia, Ms Azma Zahid Bokhari, Mrs. Zahida Sarfraz, Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad, Mr. Sami Ullah Khan, Mrs. Farzana Raja, Mrs. Tahira Munir, Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan, and Malik Muhammad Ahmad participated in the general discussion which was concluded by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
The 26th session of the Assembly and 3rd session of the 4th Parliamentary Year was then prorogued, by the order of the Governor.
