Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Noor Muhammad followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Akhtar Hussain Qureshi.
Question Hour: −
Questions relating to Health Department were asked and Dr. Saeed Elahi , Parliamentary Secretary for Health, answered the questions.
Call Attention Notices:-
Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice of Mrs. Amna Ulfat regarding newspaper report about the death of 15 year-old girl Tania, resident of Kotlakpat, and other Notice of Ms. Zobia Rubab Malik regarding newspaper report about the assassination of a resident of Shahdra, Naeem, by the kidnappers were disposed of as the movers were not present.
Adjournment Motions:-
Eight Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Syed Hassan Murtaza that the Al-Hajvery University, which has yet not been given degree awarding status, was kept pending till next session, motion moved by Malik Adil Hussain Utra regarding forfeiting Land revenue record by the revenue officials was disposed of, two motions moved by Mrs. Nighat Nasir Sheikh one regarding newspaper report about increasing beggars in Lahore and other regarding newspaper report about class one syllabus, were kept pending till tomorrow, two motions of Seemal Kamran regarding shortage of water for cultivation of land at Chak No. 77, Tehsil Jaranwala, District Faisalabad and other motion regarding newspaper report about virus attack on cotton crop in Punjab, motion moved by Mrs. Amna Ulfat regarding civil works at Mustafa Road, Singhpura, Lahore, lingering on for the past four years, were disposed of as the movers were not present, motion moved by Al-Haaj Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti about demolition of dispensary at Hazrat Madhulal Hussain Darbar was disposed of.
The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-
On the Motion moved by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, the House granted extension up to 31 August 2010 to Standing Committee on Law & Parliamentary Affairs for laying its reports on, “(The Forest (Amendment) Bill 2010 (Bill No. 20 of 2010)”.)
On the Motions moved by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, the House granted extension up to one year, to Public Accounts Committee-II for laying its following Audit Reports:-
1. “Report of appropriation accounts of the Punjab forest department for the year 2005-06”.
2. “The Audit report on the accounts of government of the Punjab for the year 2007-08”.
3. “The Audit report on the accounts of government of the Punjab for the year 2009-10”.
