            A MINISTER to move that a Supplementary sum not exceeding Rs.371,515,000/- be granted to the Governor of the Punjab to meet expenditure other than that charged on the Provincial Consolidated Fund for the financial year ending on 30th June, 2011 in respect of Land Revenue.

2.   LAYING OF SUPPLEMENTARY SCHEDULE OF AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURE FOR THE YEAR 2010-2011

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Adjournment Motions:-

Nine Adjournment Motions were taken up. The motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sohna about awarding of illegal MBBS degree to Muhammad Imtiaz Mubashir S/O Prof. Hussain Mubashir, Vice Chanceller of University of Health Sciences by Wah Medical College was kept pending till next session.  The motion moved by Dr. Muhammad Akhtar Malik regarding loss of revenue to the government of the Punjab during past eight months at the hands of TMA Cattle market, Shershah town, Multan due to less recovery, motion moved by Mrs. Nighat Sheikh regarding leasing and letting out National park Main Boleuvard Gulberg Lahore on commercial basis by PHA in violation of “The Disposal of Land by Development Authorities Regulation Act 1998”, motion moved by Syeda Majida Zaidi regarding extension in the services of  Adhoc nurses working at government hospitals by the Health department, motion moved by Maj(R) Zulfiqar Ali Gondal about children, being affected by Measles were brought to the governemnt hospitals inspite of vaccination, motion moved by Dr. Faiza Asghar regarding discontinuance of free medical tests facility to the patients at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, motion moved by Sardar Khalid Saleem Bhatti regarding laying off employees of National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) by the Punjab government, after the transfer of this department under 18th Amendment, two motions moved by Shaikh Allaud Din, one demanding cut on the number of guests upto 100 only to be invited on the marriages in the Banquet Halls and  imposition  of Penal Excise Duty, Rs. 300 per guest in case of voilation and other motion regarding renovation of Memorial of Sir Ganga Ram at Karim park Lahore were disposed of.
