Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Health Department were asked and Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Parliamentary Secretary for Health answered the questions.
Adjournment Motions
Two Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Mr. Amjad Ali Javed regarding illegal possession, demolition and later selling building material worth millions of rupees of PA house located at Mari Pachadh by Shahid Hussain Gorchani and Firdous Khan (Jamadar and Dafadar BMP) respectively was disposed of and the second Motion moved by Dr. Muhammad Afzal regarding rapid increase of youth indulging in different addictions like samad bond, heroine etc. was kept pending till next week.
The answers were given by the concerned Ministers/Parliamentary Secretaries.

Rana Babar Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary for Finance opened the floor for discussion on the Annual Reports of Punjab Pension Fund for the years 2010-2011 & 2011-2012.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out and the House was adjourned to meet on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
