Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Fateha
The House offered Fateha on the sad demise of Mr. Muhammad Siddique Khan, PTI MPA (PP-7).
Eleven Members from across the political divide including Mian Mehmood ur Rashid (Leader of the Opposition) lauded the services of deceased parliamentarian who was a seasoned politician and a humble political worker.
Due to the death of Honorable Member, the House did not take up agenda and was adjourned to meet on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
