(a) MOTION UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB 1997
A MINISTER to move that leave be granted to move Resolutions under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the following Ordinances:
1. The Punjab Land Records Authority Ordinance 2016 (XVIII of 2016);
2. The Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 (XIX of 2016); and
3. The Punjab Civil Administration Ordinance 2016 (XX of 2016).
(b) RESOLUTIONS UNDER ARTICLE 128(2)(a) OF THE CONSTITUTION
1. RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE PUNJAB LAND RECORDS AUTHORITY ORDINANCE 2016 (XVIII OF 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Punjab Land Records Authority Ordinance 2016 (XVIII of 2016), promulgated on 11 November 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 09 February 2017.
2. RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE PUNJAB URBAN IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2016 (XIX OF 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 (XIX of 2016), promulgated on 23 November 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 21 February 2017
3. RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE PUNJAB CIVIL ADMINISTRATION ORDINANCE 2016 (XX OF 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Punjab Civil Administration Ordinance 2016 (XX of 2016), promulgated on 31 December 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 31 March 2017.
(c) CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILLS
1. THE PUNJAB URBAN IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX (AMENDMENT) BILL 2016 (BILL No. 47 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Excise and Taxation, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Bill 2016, be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB URBAN IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX (AMENDMENT) BILL 2016 (BILL No. 48 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Excise and Taxation, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Bill 2016, be passed.
3. THE PUNJAB CIVIL ADMINISTRATION BILL 2017 (BILL No. 01 of 2017)
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration and passage of the Punjab Civil Administration Bill 2017.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Civil Administration Bill 2017, as recommended by Standing Committee on Services & General Administration, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Civil Administration Bill 2017, be passed.
4. THE PUNJAB LAND RECORDS AUTHORITY BILL 2016 (BILL No. 46 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Land Records Authority Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Revenue, Relief and Consolidation, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Land Records Authority Bill 2016, be passed.
5. THE UNIVERSITY OF HOME ECONOMICS LAHORE BILL 2016 (BILL No. 38 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the University of Home Economics Lahore Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Education, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the University of Home Economics Lahore Bill 2016, be passed.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيۡهِ وَاٰلِه وَسَلَّم).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Finance and Irrigation Departments were asked and Rana Babar Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary for Finance and Mr. Amanat Ullah Khan Shadi Khel, Minister for Irrigation answered the questions.
Government Business
Motion under Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997.
On a motion moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, the House granted leave to move the Resolution under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the following Ordinances:
1. The Punjab Land Records Authority Ordinance 2016 (XVIII of 2016);
2. The Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 (XIX of 2016); and
3. The Punjab Civil Administration Ordinance 2016 (XX of 2016).
Resolutions
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Resolutions, which were passed by the House:
1. The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of “The Punjab Land Records Authority Ordinance 2016 (XVIII of 2016)”, promulgated on 11 November 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 09 February 2017.
2. The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of “The Punjab Urban Immovable Property Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 (XIX of 2016)”, promulgated on 23 November 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 21 February 2017.
3. The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of “The Punjab Civil Administration Ordinance 2016 (XX of 2016)”, promulgated on 31 December 2016, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 31 March 2017.
Consideration and Passage of Bill
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Bills, which were passed by the House:
1. THE PUNJAB URBAN IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX (AMENDMENT) BILL 2016 (BILL No. 47 of 2016); and
2. THE PUNJAB URBAN IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX (AMENDMENT) BILL 2016 (BILL No. 48 of 2016).
