Question Hour
Questions relating to Planning & Development, Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education and Human Rights & Minorities Affairs Departments were asked and Malik Nadeem Kamran, Minister for Planning & Development, Mr. Khalil Tahir Sandhu, Minister for Human Rights & Minorities Affairs and Dr. Farrukh Javed, Minister for Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education answered the questions.
Laying of Report
Mr. Khalil Tahir Sandhu, Minister for Human Rights & Minorities Affairs presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce and Investment in respect of “The Punjab Tainjin University of Technology Lahore Bill 2017 (Bill No. 3 of 2018)”.
Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Leader of Opposition, on a Point of Order reacted against resolution passed by the House defaming NAB and strongly blamed the Speaker for violating Rule 117 of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997 by favoring treasury and permitting Rana Sana Ullah, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs to move resolution against National Accountability Bureau. Amid uproar and sloganeering by the Treasury and Opposition members the Chair adjourned the House at 11:11 a.m. to meet on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 a.m.
