(B) LAYING OF REPORT
ANNUAL REPORT OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE PUNJAB FOR THE YEAR 2016
A MINISTER to lay the Annual Report of Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab for the year 2016.

Question Hour
Questions relating to Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education and Special Education Departments were on the agenda. The Chair adjourned the proceedings for fifteen minutes at 10:52 a.m. due to the absence of Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education. On resumption at 11:17 a.m., Mr. Hassaan Riaz, Parliamentary Secretary for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education and Ch Muhammad Shafique, Minister for Special Education answered the questions.
Suspension of Rules
On a motion moved by Mian Mehmood ur Rashid under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution:-
Resolution
Mian Mehmood ur Rashid moved a resolution condemning the continuous harassment of Pakistani diplomatic staff in India which was not only blatant violation of human rights but also gross violation of international diplomatic norms and covenants. The House demanded the Federal Government to take up this issue with international organizations to bar India from perpetrating such acts and to expose real face of India, was unanimously passed by the House.
The Chair then read out the Prorogation Order of the Governor of the Punjab and the House was prorogued.

"پنجاب اسمبلی کا یہ ایوان گزشتہ کچھ دنوں سے بھارت میں پاکستانی سفارتکاروں کو ہراساں کرنے کے مسلسل واقعات کی پُرزور الفاظ میں مذمت کرتا ہے۔ ایسے واقعات نہ صرف بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی ہے بلکہ بین الاقوامی سفارتکاری کے اصولوں اور آداب کے بھی یکسر منافی ہے۔
یہ ایوان حکومت پاکستان سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ یہ معاملہ بین الاقوامی اداروں کے فورمز پر اٹھایا جائے تاکہ بھارت کا اصلی چہرہ بے نقاب ہو سکے اور عالمی برادری بھارت کو ان واقعات سے روکنے کے لئے اس پر دباؤ ڈال سکے۔"
