The sitting commenced with recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation, followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ and National Anthem.

Rana Tahir Iqbal, Member-elect (PP-139) made oath of membership of the Assembly and signed the Roll of Members. The Speaker administered the oath.

The House offered Fateha on sad demise of brother of Mr Fateh Khaliq Bandial, MPA, Mr Khudadad Malik, the mother of Mr Usama Leghari, and the father of Ms Atiya Iftikhar.

Honourable Speaker informed the House about presence of people from Sundas Foundation and Thalassemia patients, appreciated their efforts and requested the House to present a standing ovation to them.

Questions relating to Primary And Secondary Healthcare Department were asked and answered by Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Minister concerned.

8.      Special Audit Report on Local Purchase of Medicines and Surgical Disposables by Ten Teaching Hospitals of Punjab under Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, for the Audit Year 2021-22.

9.      Audit Report on the Accounts of C&W, HUD&PHE, Irrigation, LG&CD Departments, PMA, KSIP and CDA, Government of the Punjab, for the Audit Year 2023-24.

The audit reports were referred to the concerned Public Accounts Committees with the directions to examine and report within one year.
