Sahibzada Muzammil-ur-Rashid Abbasi son of Sahibzada Muhammad Aurangzeb Abbasi was born on June 25, 1961 at Bahawalpur. He obtained the degree of LL.B. from S.M. Law College, Karachi. A practising lawyer, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. His uncle Sahibzada Syeed-ur-Rashid Abbasi was Member, National Assembly/Minister for Tourism; his cousin, Nawab Salah-ud-Din Abbasi was MNA; his cousin Sahibzada Usman Abbasi was MPA/Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly; his cousin Sahibzada Farooq Anwar Abbasi remained Member, National/Punjab Assembly; his uncle Lt Gen S.M.Abbasi was Governor Sindh and his uncle Mr Abbas Abbasi was Governor Punjab.
