CONVERSION OF STANDING COMMITTEES OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB
No.PAP/Legis-1(10)/2013/1513. On a motion moved by the Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, in agreement with the Leader of the House and the Leader of the Opposition, the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, in its sitting held on 30th November 2016, granted approval for conversion of two existing Standing Committees (as notified vide this Secretariat Notification No.PAP/Legis-1(10)/2013/976 dated 17 December 2013), to bring them in accord with the substituted sub-rule (1) of rule 148 of the Rules of Procedure of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as detailed below:

2. The Assembly further approved that the existing Members and Chairpersons of the previous Committees will continue to hold their respective positions in the converted Committees.
