Changes in the membership of Standing Committees of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab

In continuation of this Secretariat Notification No.PAP/Legis-1(10)/2013/976 dated 17 December 2013, the Speaker, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, in exercise of powers conferred on him under rule 148(3) of the Rules of Procedure of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, has been pleased to make the following changes in the nomenclature of Standing Committees of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in consultation with the Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Leader of the Opposition:

3. The Speaker, in consultation with the Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Leader of the Opposition, has further been pleased to approve that Mr Ramesh Singh Arora, NM-368, Chairman, Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce and Investment, after his transfer into Standing Committee on Human Rights and Minorities Affairs shall continue to be as Chairman of Standing Committee on Human Rights and Minorities Affairs and Mr Abdul Rauf Mughal, PP-94, Chairman, Standing Committee on Human Rights and Minorities Affairs, after his transfer into Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce and Investment shall continue to be Chairman of Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce and Investment.
