The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, in its meeting held on 12 August 2008, constituted a Special Committee in terms of rule 187 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, comprising the following, to consider the issue raised by Mrs. Amna Ulfat, MPA regarding the demolition and reconstruction of 24 Assembly Staff Quarters situated near Ghari Shahu Police Station, Lahore and 7 Staff Quarters situated at Pipals House, Lahore:-
