Personal Career & Interests

Mr Saeed Akbar Khan son of Mr Ghulam Akbar Khan was born on June 8, 1955 at Bhakkar. He obtained the degree of M.A. in 1985 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, who has successively been elected as Member Punjab Assembly since 1985 having returned to Punjab Assembly for the seventh consesctive term in general elections 2008. He functioned as Parliamentary Secretary during 1985, as Advisor to Chief Minister during 1986-88; as Provincial Minister during 1988 and 1993-96; and as Minister for Prisons during 2003-07. He has travelled to , , , , , and in connection with his parliamentary assignments. His brother, Mr Rashid Akbar Khan, a sitting MNA, previously remained Member of National Assembly during 1988, 1993-96 and 2002-07.
